ORION—Former students who have brought distinction to Orion High School were brought into the Hall of Fame on Friday, Jan. 29. Athletic director and dean of students Nathan DeBaillie served as master of ceremonies.

ORION—A five-point lead in the first quarter held up for visiting Sherrard, which went on to edge Orion 54-50 in varsity boys basketball on Friday, Jan. 29.
KEWANEE—With seven freshmen moving up to replace disciplined players, the Orion girls built a 16-12 lead over Wethersfield in the first half of the varsity game on Saturday, Jan. 30. But after halftime the Flying Geese flew off to a 55-40 win. The hosts outscored the Chargers 23-10 in the third quarter and 20-14 in the fourth.
