A big contrats to the many people who brought to fruition the wonderful 175th Andover celebration. The mayor, the village board members, the Tourism Committee and the many, many invested citizens did a wonderful job of planning and then working to make the weekend the great event it was in our small village.
With that said, a special bit of recognition needs to go to Ron Peterson. Without minimizing how hard everyone involved worked, it is special thanks we all give Ron for his vision, planning, ongoing efforts and relentless promotion of this event, and more importantly the Village of Andover. A better ambassador could not be found, and he’s proof one person can make a difference.
Andover is a historical treasure. The preservation and recognition of its past is what we celebrated this past weekend. The citizens of Andover are indeed blesed with a visionary, a “Dreamer” like Ron Peterson.
