Williams finishes third in slam dunk contest

Tanner Williams of Orion finished third in the state finals of the slam dunk contest on Friday, March 12,

Chris Baker of Ullin Century, a 6-0 senior, finished first with 35 points.

Nicholas Calleja of Decatur Lutheran, a 6-5 junior, scored 31 points.

When it was Williams' turn, the 6-5 sophomore received 30 points for his efforts.

Calvin Lewis of Stark County, a 6-6 junior, failed to complete two dunks in 45 seconds. He had zero points.
