CUBA—Virginia K. “Ginger” Lynch, 72, of Cuba passed away at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Graham Hospital.

 

She was born Jan. 26, 1946, at Springfield, the daughter of Alva “Al” L. and Helen L. (Tippett) Power. She married Harold Lynch.

 

Survivors include four children, Rod (Debbie) Lynch of Cuba, Ronnie (Jalyn) Lynch of Cissna Park, Susie (Russell) Johnson of Cuba and Harry (Becky) Lynch of Fiatt; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald D. (Norma) Power of Pana and Terry L. (Sherrie Leezer) Power of Petersburg; one brother-in-law, Robert Altig of Greenview; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.

 

Ginger worked as the housekeeping director at the former Canton Nursing Center. She enjoyed being a farm wife and loved cooking and baking. She enjoyed roller skating, music and dances and racing horses.

 

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at Oakland Cemetery at Petersburg, with Pastor Mike Arnett officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba.
