BUSHNELL — A county sheriff’s detective and Bushnell officer arrested a Bushnell man on Thursday afternoon on suspicion of drug activity and for a Fulton County warrant.
According to McDonough County Sheriff Nick Petitgout, the detective and officer saw Donald Friday, 22, in a housing complex on north Cole Street in Bushnell. Friday was wanted for failing to appear in court on a Fulton County burglary charge. Authorities located under 5 grams of meth and hypodermic needles while taking him into custody.
Friday faces charges for the needles, under 5 grams of meth and the was booked into McDonough County Jail for the Fulton County burglary warrant.
He was lodged in the county jail with $5,000 cash bond.
McDonough Voice online archives indicate at least two separate instances in the past two years where Friday was arrested on suspicion of burglary or for possession of meth.
