Main Street Orion's very first double feature will be on Friday, Aug. 13, in Central Park, Orion.
A local band, Animalia, will perform at 6:30 p.m. The band won the senior division of the Orion Fall Festival talent contest in 2009 and also was a finalist in the fall festival’s Battle of the Bands. This summer, the band finished second in the Battle of the Bands at the Henry County Fair.
At 7:30 p.m., the Orion Community Band will perform.
The first movie will be “Beetlejuice,” and the second movie will be “Salem's Lot.”
Orion Pizza Hut is sponsoring the evening and will sell pizza by the slice.
