Norma L. McDonald, 85, of Macomb; passed away at 6:17 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Feb. 8, 1932, in Macomb, to Lee Edward and Dorothy Homer Wade; she married Gerald McDonald on June 12, 1955. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Lisa Jane (David) Murphy of Macomb; Timothy McDonald of Whitefish Bay, Wis.; grandchildren, Katherine (Nathan) Cobb of Macomb and Joshua (Annie) Murphy of Kansas City, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her Parents.
Norma graduated from Christian College in Columbia, Mo., and from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. For many years, she was the co-owner of Designers/Indian Shop on the square in Macomb.  
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Macomb and was a Chapter X PEO member for more than 50 years.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday May 12, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in Macomb. Memorial Contributions may be made to MDH Hospice or the Humane Society of McDonough County. Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
