Teresia Fidelis “Dale” Jones, 78, formerly of Andover and Orion, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Rite of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Mary Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Orion. Visitation was Thursday, Sept. 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., Orion, with a rosary recited at 3:45 p.m. 
Memorials may be made to the church or Hope Creek.  Burial will be in Western Township Cemetery, rural Orion.
Dale Jones was born October 19, 1930, in Rockwell City, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Theresa (Miller) Kutz.  She married Leo D. Jones on August 28, 1950, in Rockwell City. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1999.
She was employed at Black Hawk College in the copy center for 30 years before retiring in 1994.
She was a member of Mary Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Orion, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the MS Society and a former member of the Moose Lodge, Geneseo.
She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, reading and traveling, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters, Karen (Mike) King of Antioch and Janet (Vince) Duyvejonck of Moline; sons, Steve (Chris) Jones of Orion, Thad Jones of Hollywood, Fla., Mark (Debbie) Jones of Sunny Hill and Matt Jones (Jonathon Welch) of Melbourne, Australia; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille Heath of Rockwell City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Stephanie Jones; and siblings, Bernard Kutz, Clarence Kutz, Marie Johnson and Dorothy LaSalle.
