I am writing as I am inspired by the generosity of people. I work in an Orion business, and at Christmas time gave a discount to a customer.
That customer sent us a Main Street Orion gift certificate for us to apply to another person’s account that might benefit from it.
Another employee here just did the same with a Main Street Orion gift certificate — told me to apply it to someone’s account that could use it.
I feel so wonderful about the kindness being passed on. I would like to challenge others to do similar pay-it-forward gestures, and see if we can’t keep anonymously paying it forward and help our community.
How about buying a couple of Main Street gift certificates and leaving them at an Orion business, letting them choose who might benefit from it? I know I will.
