Well, this year is another election year with a lot of candidates on the Democratic primary ballot. This primary election is earlier and will be on Feb. 2, so I hope all my Democratic friends remember to get out and vote.

Many know me and of my background in the judicial system for the last 35 years, first as a police officer, then as a prosecutor for more than 25 years in private practice. I am not running this year, but I am supporting many of our local Democratic candidates, one of whom is Clarance “Mike” Darrow.

Mike Darrow is a Democratic candidate for Circuit  Judge, and he has my total support and endorsement. We need good judges in our circuit; judges who know the law; judges who are tough against crime; judges who are respectful and fair and have the heart of a Democrat. This is Mike  Darrow.

Mike spent the first decade of his adult life getting the education to be a lawyer, but more important he spent that time becoming a leader of men and women. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Captain, an infantry commander, a leader who knew how to make tough decisions; decisions that affected peoples’ lives. He learned respect of others, commitment, honor and duty and to always be there for others.

Then Mike spent the next decade practicing law. In this decade, he has handled every aspect of the law. He has handled family law, criminal law and civil law and knows what it means to be in a courtroom.

He has the depth and breadth of both personal and legal experience to be an excellent judge. I have no hesitation in supporting Mike Darrow for circuit judge and no hesitation in asking you to do the same. So please join me and give your vote, your support and your assistance to Mike Darrow for circuit judge.

Mike will need our help in getting the word out, so please talk to your Democratic friends, make phone calls and ask them to vote for Mike Darrow in the Democratic primary on Feb. 2.

We need good judges and Mike Darrow would be a good judge and is the best candidate for circuit judge. So, if you are a Democrat who wants the best candidate to become our next circuit judge, then vote Clarance “Mike” Darrow for circuit judge on Feb. 2.
