As your Congressman, I want the best for Henry County and for your county to have the best in its government. I believe that a strong leader is needed in Cambridge, a person who has the intelligence, integrity, wisdom and ability to do the best for the people.

In Henry County, you have one of the best attorneys in the area running for State’s Attorney, but, even more important, he is a person who has the intelligence, integrity, wisdom and ability to be an outstanding State’s Attorney.

I personally have known Mike Wassell for more than 20 years. I know his background of being a Marine Sergeant during the Vietnam War, a police officer for many years in Moline, a former Assistant State’s Attorney in Henry County and an outstanding attorney for the last 23 years fighting for victims every day.

I have spoken to many State’s Attorneys in my district, police officers, judges from the trial bench to the appellate and supreme courts, other attorneys and many citizens and they all recommend Mike Wassell highly and confirm my opinion that he is the best candidate for State’s Attorney in Henry County.

Mike will be there for every citizen, fighting for what is right and making sure justice is always done in every case. He will be there for the victim, respecting them and treating them with compassion, and he will be there to make sure the violent criminals are taken off our streets.

Henry County has a chance to have an excellent State’s Attorney by electing Mike Wassell. On Nov. 4, please vote for Mike Wassell for Henry County State’s Attorney.
