The little 4-Her’s practiced with their horses in the outdoor arena last Friday. They were really good and were working hard.
Work will be beginning soon on revamping the old art hall. Just needs painting inside pretty bad and work on the roof.
Something new last year will be back this year in the Art Hall open show. It’s not in the fair book but after several phone calls the superintendents have decided to add antiques and collectibles again this year. Watch my article next week for details. Watch the website also.
Week passes, day passes and senior passes for Farm Bureau members will go on sale at the Henry County Farm Bureau after May 1. Regular week passes for non-members will also be on sale at a discount.
Anyone dividing perrenials and separating or thinning them out, we could use them at the fairgrounds. Call Cheryl at 507-1464 if you have any you wish to get rid of.
Sunnyfield Greenhouse and Garden Center has agreed to donate landscaping for the Art and Exhibition Hall. It is going to be real pretty and Jeff Johnson is real busy getting this done.
