Youth league roundup from Friday

    Lyons-Sullivan Realty rallied to win its Rookie Miss softball game Friday night, while Suzi Q and Good Time Lino competed in the early game at the Rec-Plex.
Lyons-Sullivan 6, Sturms Seed 4
    A five-run inning lifted Lyons-Sullivan to a 6-4 win over Sturms Seed for its first win of the season.
    Leading the Lyons-Sullivan offense were Harper Francis, Syndel Hicks and Lily Sipe with three hits apiece. Madison Haan had a double and single. Abbie Rapp had two hits while Maya Ray collected her first hit of the season and Aubrey Thompson also singled.
    Kira Johnson recorded four base hits and Haddie Fearman contributed three safeties for Sturms Seeds. Maggie Crawford and Alyson Trout had two hits apiece and Erin Singer, Susan Berry and Kinsley Henry added one hit each.
Good Times-Suzi Q's
    There was no score provided for the first game, which ended after the time limit was reached with Suzi Q winning.
    Isabella Hinz and Amaya Wyman each collected three hits for Suzi Q. Ava Metz, Payton Rogers, Amelia Maier, Grace Murphy and Alyza Steidinger had two hits apiece. Steidinger was also awarded the game ball. Emmalee Hammer had one hit.
    Izabella Radford had two hits and received the game ball for Good Times Limo. Kinsley Hamilton, Tiffany Legner, Alexis Legner, Maddy Mackinson, Anna Gall and Brooklyn Tissiere each had one hit.
Rookie League
    Tool's Auto Sales and Popejoy Plumbing and Heating played to a 7-7 tie before the time limit got them Friday night.
    Tool's scored six runs in the first inning to take the early lead, but Popejoy answered with four runs in the second frame. Tool's added a run in the third for a 7-4 lead. Popejoy scored twice in the fourth inning and tied it with a run in the fifth inning.
    Braden Haase had two triples and a single to help lead the Tool's Auto Sales offense. Henry Yedinak added two singles while Gage Munch, Chris Legner, Braxton Flahaut, garrett Harder, Jacob Quinn, Ayden Henkel and Caden Ferguson each had one hit.
    Mason Dronenberg paced the Popejoy offense with a pair of three-base hits. Adam Vitzthum collected a triple and single while Graham Mennenga and Jackson Fosdick each had a double and single. Jacob Lauritsen, Patrick Diaz, Blaze Quas, Dexter Benson, Kyler Herring and Kenny Vanover had one hit apiece.
Little League
    Bank of Pontiac scored first, lost its lead and quickly regained the advantage in posting a 9-3 Little League victory over Illinois American Water Company Friday.
    BOP scored a run in the top of the first inning only to see IAWC tally two markers in the home half of the frame for a 2-1 lead.
    A three-run second put Bank of Pontiac ahead for good. A run in the fourth and four in the fifth inning gave BOP the runs it needed. IAWC pushed across its final run in the fourth inning.
    Camden Fenton tripled and singled while driving in three runs for Bank of Pontiac. Peyton VonHolton doubled and drove in a run while Michael Hendershott had a hit and RBI. Colin Krisitch added a base hit.
    Fenton fanned nine and gave up two runs in three innings. VonHolton had eight Ks and gave up a run in his three innings.
    Hayden DuVall had three hits, including a triple, for IAWC. Brayden Stroh singled and drove in a run.
    Anderson Horning took the loss after allowing four runs on two hits. He struck out eight. Mason Schlosser yielded five runs on two hits and fanned four while DuVall struck out the side in his one inning on the bump.
