On Monday, May 6, 2019, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and the Cambridge High School received information about a threat of violence toward the school made by a high school student.

Henry County Investigators initiated an investigation. The high school student that allegedly made the threat was identified and later interviewed. Witnesses were also interviewed corroborating the allegations.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office provided extra presence of uniformed Deputies at the School on the following scheduled day of school. Prior to the start of the school day Investigators located and arrested William Keller (age 18) of Cambridge for the charges of 2 counts of felony disorderly conduct for making a threat of violence at a school. William is currently a student at the Cambridge High School.

Mr. Keller remains in custody at the Henry County Jail with a bond set at $40,000(10%). Investigators determined that Keller does not have a valid F.O.I.D. card and did not appear to have immediate access to any firearms.

This case still remains under investigation.
