Ron Sexton is coming to Canton.

CANTON-Ron Sexton is coming to Canton.

No?

Doesn’t ring a bell?

How about Donnie Baker?

Ah, yes!

Donnie Baker is the alter ego of Ron Sexton.

He may be best known for his appearances on the Bob & Tom Show, but prior to that he had been doing stand up comedy for a decade.

July 19, Baker will be headlining the White Trash Bash at The Venue in Canton.

Said Jed Rhoades, “To my knowledge, Donnie has never performed in Canton. He’s been in Farmington, but I don’t know that he’s performed in Canton. He’s definitely a big deal. Tickets for that are $35.”

Meet & Greet tickets are sold out.

Rhoades said, in an interview just about a month prior to the event,  he hopes to sell the White Trash Bash out, “I think we’ve sold around 100 tickets. It took off like wildfire (when it was announced)

Bringing someone like him to Canton is a big deal. Doors for Donnie open at 6 p.m. He’ll perform at 8 p.m. and immediately after him we’ll have the local band, The Long Hard Ride. It should be a good time!”

Those attending are encouraged to dress like a redneck and have fun with the experience.
