Tuesday, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) – a member of the House Appropriations Committee – announced $22,994,908 in total federal grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) program, HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) program and Public Housing Capital Funds program.

WASHINGTON-Tuesday, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) – a member of the House Appropriations Committee – announced $22,994,908 in total federal grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) program, HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) program and Public Housing Capital Funds program.

“It’s crucial families across Illinois have access to affordable and reliable housing,” Congresswoman Bustos said. “Today’s announcement is a major investment in our communities and will equip our cities to help address this issue. I’ll continue to do everything in my power to support our neighbors through programs like these.”

Locally, the Fulton County Housing Authority will receive $749,639 from the Public Housing Capital Fund.
